Create solid gameplay mechanics that make the game interesting, streamlined and rewarding.
To take the best parts from more traditional SNES era JRPGs and merging them with some of the most effective story telling and gameplay elements found in modern games.
Basic Story:
On a very Earth-like and modern planet. A robot force, with access to incredible nanotech and bioengineering tech exists. It has gained self-awareness, and in a very long search to discover a meaning to life, has determined there is none. The robots overlords decide it is therefore, a useless endeavor and all life must be eradicated.
Many humans do not know of the robot's existence.
Our hero accompanied by several friends discovers the plot to eradicate life, and moves to stop it from coming to fruition. Along the way being joined by and encountering many forms of life, including, but not limited to, robotic life, cloned life, those who have been brought back from the dead, but are still very human, and time travelers.
